Fedora is a Linux distribution that provides an interesting mix of stable and cutting-edge technologies. It is geared to be a multipurpose distribution, allowing the user to do anything from just running a typical desktop (web browser, office suite, etc) to running all sorts of servers. It is a sort of testing ground for RedHat Enterprise Linux.
